Every day is new, without a trend, just mine.
I have made peace with emptiness, so I look into another space. That would be my painting.
To experience the painting, I create a conversation in my mind with the world today. Through painting, I convey the highlight of that conversation.
I would describe the world today as a circle in which we create a reality that we often want to escape from. My work is not reality, but a map of empty spaces to which we give character ourselves.
In those spaces, I look for what remains when we remove trends, expectations, and what has already been offered to us. The painting then becomes a place to which I can give meaning myself.

I am from Zagreb and completed my undergraduate studies in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb.
In my work, I explore materialism, trends, and their influence on society. I am interested in how the things we desire and the trends we follow shape our identity, behavior, and view of the world.
Through everyday motifs, I depict the contemporary world and its atmosphere, while at the same time searching for a space beyond what has already been offered to us. Through painting, I explore how capable we are of imagining, stepping away from imposed patterns, and creating our own view of reality.
